Childhood Obesity Research

Miriam Hospital (not really sure where that is) has just been granted $1m for research!
Do you think there is a new genetic link that's causing such a rise in childhood obesity in our country? Or do you think it's the American lifestyle that has changed?
Tell me your thoughts...

I believe it's society's lazy lifestyles. The "super size" generation. Both of my older kids are over weight. I blame myself for buying so much fast food and junk when I was a working single mom. I've taught them horrible eating habits.
