We meet with the OB cooridinator yesterday, and got TONS and TONS of information. We got this really big huge book, with TONS of information on it. Of course it has a brief section on circumcion and I was quite happy, and DH was kinda *wowed* by what it said. It was non-biased. For the first time, DH finally read something and KINDA understood what I have been saying all along.

I forget now, what exactly it said, but it mentioned the circ rates declining to nearly or less than 50/50, the AAP statement that is so widely used and debated, showed a picture of each [intact and circ], it actually gave care intructions for each that was appropriate. It was on ly about 2 pages long, but had alot of information, and enough to get DH thinking. I'm very happy

That's so good that he's starting to see your side now! One of the things that won me over was that statistic about the rates dropping to 50/50,, it made me more comfortable with the decision knowing that my child wasn't going to be one of the only ones uncircumcized.

That is reassuring!

I think what wone me over, was hearing babies cry [mom worked in aurology office were they did circs], and how my mom explained the procedure [in depth].
