May is speech and hearing month! If you haven't had your children's ears tested, and/or if you're concerned about their hearing or speech, you should get them tested. You can get more info on the Children with Vision, Hearing & Sensory Issues Board.

Daniel had the newborn screening, but that's it.

Ben has had his tested 4 times ... newborn, a sedated audiology test at the hospital, and two ENT screenings.

I've had my kids tested several times. Many people forget how important ear tests are!

Oh yes. DD was tested twice and DS has had the normal ones as well as sedated ones too. His hearing is within normal range but we also know that he does not hear the same way most "normal" people hear but thankfully at least he does hear.

Just the newborn test. I do know that Jonah's hearing is really good though. We play whisper games all the time & that child never misses a thing - even when I wish he would. Issac is not even three months - so I think he has all they normally do at thsi age anyway. I dont' think I would have either tested unless I had a reason to believe there were an issue or if either had issue with ear infections. Otherwise I feel okay with normal testing done at school age.
