Its a really really hard thing to see your child have fit/sezuire. My DD3 my youngest has been diagnosed with " Breath holding spells ". Basically what happens with Batoolee is when she cries realy hard like when she falls or something, she will begin to cry but then suddenly slows and turns like blueish color and her eyes go back and she postures and passes out for a few seconds or less. She does not shake and her body is not affected except the posturing which looks like someone with a head injury.

After that she is very tired and usually sleeps and also acts like she forget anything happened ( like if she got hurt. ) We do try and cut the spell short or off by blowing in her face otherwise we just let it happen and support her while its occuring. Its soooo scary when its happening.

The doc says she will out grow and its causes no harm, but I am worried that this does prevent oxygen to her brain and do worry that one day it could be worse. Its stressful to say the least as thankfully she is not a cryer. So it does not happen to frequently.

Again Im really sorry your DD suffers from fits and sounds like hers are different than B's but I really hope you can connect with someone and get some support.

That sounds terrible! I'm sorry, but I don't personally know anyone whose child does that. There are no regular members for this board. It's primarily here for information. Have you reached out to any allergy groups locally?
