hello there, I'm new here and just trying to figure out what's going on with my 3yo DD. Three days ago she started complaining of a stomach ache and was lethargic and had a low grade fever. She threw up three times and was done throwing up at about 6pm. The next day she still had a low fever and was complaining a ton about her stomach hurting. So I took her to the dr, who said the thought it might be constipation. She told me to give her miralax and lots of fluid and fruit and veggies l, which I did. DD ended up pooping and passing gas a lot after that and her stomach felt better but the fever is still hanging on. Now this morning she still has a low fever and is complaining that her throat hurts. I looked in her throat and didn't see anything abnormal. Thinking maybe it was just dry from the AC? I'm wondering if it was just constipation why the fever is hanging on after she already pooped. She's never had a fever this long so it's worrying me.
Has anyone had anything like this? I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong with her. She's so clingy and feeling so miserable and I just want to help her but can't figure out what's wrong. I also have a 5 month old baby and if she has something contagious I want to try to make sure he doesn't get it
