We got a letter today saying we could come in and get a new ultra machine since BD is discontinuing the link meter. We had really inaccurate readings with the BD anyway and stopped using it months ago (50 points off was too much) so we are excited they are finally going to provide a new machine that will work with our pumps (me and my dd). Still working on getting the CGMS but this is a step in the right direction.

Here's a few articles on it. It will use the same strips as the current ultra machines so no wasting the strips we already have

Glad to hear they are going to try a different meter. I liked the one touch ultra smart when we were using it before starting the pump. I'm sure it will be great whatever they choose to work with the pump technology.

Hey that's cool! I didn't like that BD Meter either when we were pumping.
