I was wondering if anyone knows the meaning behind the pile of 3 matzos. I read recently that the middle one, which of course is broken and half becomes the afikomen, that you are supposed to hide the bigger piece because more is hidden than revealed. But why 3 matzos....and why not 7?

I looked it up

The three Matzahs are in specifically in place to remember the Isrealite, Levite and Kohanim tribe of Jews from the past.
