Just curious, do you think of your birthing experiences positive, negative or neutral??
If you chose negative or neutral, why?

both of my experiences with the girls were positive... Gaby's was 'mainly positive', Emersyn's was 'completely positive'... the difference between the two was the fact that before Gaby was born they tried and failed to induce me, and I was two weeks overdue, so by that time I was emotionally and physically exhausted, and was so over being pregnant that it wasn't funny . With Emmy i had a scheduled c/s, and was nice and refreshed beforehand, the atmosphere in the OR was very happy and i was joking with my mw... and we were whispering about how hot one of the aneasthetists was

I chose neutral, mainly because I just don't get all gung ho about birth, even the birth of my own child. I'm not wired that way.

But it wasn't awful by any stretch.

Negative... the labor itself was okay.. I was disappointed in myself for getting the intrathecal but whatever.. the problem was once he was born he wasnt breathing, I didnt get to see him for 7 hours and hold him for 8 hours etc.. it was just very scary and devastating

Thank you jaidynsmum for my siggy!
