My baby has gone from good to bad. When she was born she would sleep 6-8 at night and nap well. Then starting at about 5 months her sleeping habits took a change for the worse, and keep getting worse. At first she would cry shortly after being put in her crib, but I could rock her back to sleep and put her back in her crib. She would sleep for 4-5 hours and wake up again. At that point I would lay her in bed with me to nurse; where she would stay the rest of the night (4-5 hrs). Now, no matter how fast asleep she is, the minute I lay her in her crib she wakes up crying. I have tried the cry it out method, letting her cry for up to two hours, but she does not stop. I have tried standing by the crib, singing, patting, trying to soothe, and still all she does is cry. The only way she will sleep at night is I she is in bed next to me, or in the day if I hold her. Don't know what to do. I soon go back to working and need to fix this problem. What can I do, any suggestions?
