What would you do if your current living situation made it almost impossible to allow your child to CIO? Would you think about moving? Or would you just come up with an alternative to CIO?

No...I wouldn't move. I'd simply have to make nice with those who'd hear it. We live in a townhouse when my older dd was born and we know the neighbors heard her cry but they were OK with it and understood...at least to our faces.

Gosh this is something I was worried about!!! We tried this a couple times before actually sticking to it! And I'd go outside & could clearly hear her! I was like OMG they are going to think I am neglecting her!

Nope, I would never move because my neighbors couldn't put up with a crying child. Too bad for them. If the landlords are renting to families, then they had better expect it. I pay too much money for rent to not feel comfortable in my own home!

No one is going to take your kids away for being a good parent. Anyone who has a problem with it, should find an adult only building to move into.
