I had grown my nails out pretty long...for me anyway. My nails are naturally very tough and look like a french manicure.

Well, Friday, I got a manicure. I don't do this often but felt like treating myself. Yesterday, I broke a nail to the quick. It made it feel awkward with one being broken so I cut the rest of them off to match tonight.

What would you have done? Would you have dealt with it until it grew back out? Cut the others to match?

Here is what they looked like pre-manicure.

My nails are almost always different lengths. If I break one, I may trim the others down while I'm cleaning up the rough edges, I am just feel too busy to think about my nails most of the time.

I don't know. I don't normally get my nails done unless they are acrylic....I know my natural nails will just break. It would totally be a waste of money for me. I have had once when I had just had my acrylic nails done and one broke. I went back later in the day and the guy repaired it for no cost.
