Have you done anything artsy or crafty with your kids this summer? If so, please share! I'd love to think of some things to do with Madeleine while Sam is napping. It's our 'girls only' time, and she really likes that kind of stuff. Thanks!

I'm not very good about this. I don't know why!!! I'm just SO not artistic so I never think about it. I liked when he was doing art in school lol. I'll have to come back to this thread for ideas.

Not yet this summer lol We're doing a pen pal type thing with a girl her age from a military wives board I'm on, so they "write" letters to each other and draw pictures, etc. So that's fun to do once/week. Last summer she was big into fingerpainting, but I need to buy more paint for that yet. Mostly we've just been doing a lot of pool/sprinkler/beach time b/c it's just so darn hot.
I predict a riot.

I am the best mom in the world before summer starts... I have all these plans and schedules and crafts and books to read and.... you get the idea... but it seems like summer is halfway over and we still are all unorganized... but I need to get them doing homework and crafts... Keegan has so much energy that it's hard to get him to sit... he's going to need that when he's back in school!
