Are your kids writing a letter to Santa this year? What are they asking for?

When I was little, I would write letters to Santa each year, and I would always get one back in a pink scented envelope from the North Pole. lol I thought it was the most awesome thing. I'm looking forward to doing something similar with my kids.

Yes, they wrote their letters to Santa a couple weeks ago, the postal workers collect them every year at the Santa Claus parade.
Haley asked for a big Barbie doll house, and Tyler asked for a Captain America Shield. (He got the costume on his bday minus the shield)

My mom is getting Haley the doll house and she wants it to be from her, not Santa. I'm really annoyed about this, she only made a fuss about it after the letter was sent even though she knew before hand what Haley was asking for. I would have coaxed her into changing her letter if I had known. So now this will be the first xmas where Santa's not going to bring her what she asked for, and she's getting older so I don't know if we have any more years of her REALLY believing in him so it makes me sad for her. I know she'll be happy when she gets the dollhouse from mom later that day, but she'll still be disappointed first thing Christmas morning, and I won't be able to explain or else it will ruin mom's surprise gift.

this is the first year theyve written letters, because its the first year they can write. usually when they open gifts though...they open all of them at the same time and its so chaotic they dont remember the santa ones from the grandma ones, etc....so its not as if theyve ever wondered why someody got them something they asked for from Santa.

And Drake is askign Santa for an ipad sooo HAHAHAHA..not happening.
