LOL Woo! I didn't really think that she wouldn't, but it's always a fear. I remember having straight A's and still being scared they wouldn't promote me.

Has anyone ever had to repeat a grade? One of my best friends in school had to repeat 8th grade, because she had too many unexcused absences. She was in the gifted program and still got held back.

Nope, never had to repeat a grade. I dont even know if they do that much anymore...

I've never needed to repeat either.

They only tend to have you repeat kindergarten and grade 1 around here.

It's usually kindergarten that I hear about needing to be repeated. I remember the anxiety of "not passing" too. I never had straight A's so the possibility was always there..lol! According to her last report card and a note from her principal, she's at/above grade level. I guess that means she's passing.
