Ren got her first birthday invitation from someone who wasn't a relative or friend of the family. We had our first day of gymnastics and a little girl handed out unaddressed envelopes to all of the kids. We'd never met them before, but I know it's not unusual these days to invite everyone in the class. Didn't one of you say that was the policy at a preschool? Anyway, I had been talking to the mother earlier and kind of made a connection with her. We both scrapbook, but she does the paper scrapping. I think I got her interested in giving digital scrapping a try! Anyway, it sounds like a lot of fun. They're renting one of those inflatable things that the kids jump in. So, would you go?

I think we might go. Why not, right? It's just weird because we don't really know them. I suppose it's a good way for both Ren and I to possibly make a new friend.

We get invitations at daycare all the time, got one yesterday for a little gym party. I'm not sure about getting one the same day I meet someone, but if you talked to the mom and liked her, why not go? The kids have fun!

Yeah, I'd say go! A good way to make a new friend. It was me who said that about having to invite everyone in class. We got one the first week Jacob was in school and elected not to go to that, but I had never even met the kid or the parent, so it was different.

Thanks to JaidynsMum for my awesome siggy!

I'd go. Sounds like fun! And it's always good when you have something in common with the mom.
