How is your 06'er with it lately?

Eric has suddenly dug his feet in and HATES brushing his teeth. He was doing great, barely needed me to touch up at all, and now he refuses to do it himself at all without a MASSIVE fight.

Riley fights me on it as well. He would rather play with the toothpaste instead. (used the toothpaste to 'wash' the sink the other day)

Jasmine loves to brush her teeth. Ok, so I may have told her that it might help her get a much wanted wobbly tooth but at least she'll happily brush her teeth. In fact both girls love to brush their teeth. Jas's fave part would have to be gargling with kids mouth wash.

Fritz loves brushing his teeth. He'd do it hourly if I let him.

Wynston is not a big fan of brushing his teeth but if I let him use mommy's grown-up toothpaste, he's excited.

Matt doesn't give me any trouble. All the kids brush their own in the morning after breakfast. Then at night I brush and floss all their teeth myself. They had their six month visit at the dentist yesterday and everyone checked out well. Matt has a few molars that didn't develop right due to his prematurity (not enough enamel) but so far he hasn't had any issues or cavities.

Kel have you seen that special mouthwash for kids? It's colored, and then they have the brush well afterwards to get the color off. I haven't tried it, but my neighbor used it for her boys who were reluctant brushers. It really forces them to do a good job and also is kind of cool.

Clar brushes her own teeth and does a decent job. She flosses too. Every once in a while I'll give her a good brushing/ flossing to get what she's missed, but the dentist never has any complaints.

The kids don't give me any problem about brushing their teeth. I will admit they are about 3 months overdue for their dental check up... I have such a hard time scheduling dr appts in the summer! I have to remember to do that this week!
