Does your school do Scholastic orders - or, for our homeschoolers, do you have an account?
Do you usually pick out, or let your 06er go through?

Thank you Jaidynsmum for the siggy!

I let her pick out.. Rather, by the time she comes home from school, she already knows what she wants. But truthfully, we rarely order... They have too many books as it is.

We used to order all the time, but our school stopped offering it this year. Sigh.

Does your school do Scholastic orders - or, for our homeschoolers, do you have an account? Yep, we just got the first one on Friday!
Do you usually pick out, or let your 06er go through? I usually pick, because when she picks she does all the most expensive things and then we can't get as much. If I pick, she can get 5-10 books for pretty cheap (and she ends up loving every single one).

Yep our schools do it. They finally got the papers sent out for parents to be able to order online so we just ordered for the first time 2 weeks ago. They require checks if ordering from the book order and we don't do checks so I was glad that they gave us the online school code finally.

I picked out the books, if I let Seamus he would pick out the ones with toys only. He's getting 2 Lego Star Wars Books, 2 Constructon books, 2 Pete the Cat books and I think one other book (Think its "mouse does something" )

N and E can get two books per order, as long as they're the cheaper ones

Lucky mother to five!

We used to do them when Ani and Cameron we younger. We don't anymore because I'd rather have ebooks that paper books. Fritz reads stuff on Kindles mostly.

The school does them but we haven't ordered any for a long time. We have a lot of books as it is, are trying to spend less and bring less into the house these days, and we love the library - I would rather get books there.
