So I took Beau to his WIC appointment and he is dwindling. Beau was at 50% and 50% when he was born. When he was 6 months he was 50% height and 25% weight which is where Scarlett was at 2 years old. But now at a year old he is at 25% height and between 5% and 10% weight. So is he failing to thrive or is he just a small fry.

Any way Wayne is 6' 4" I am 5'4" we are both heavy. However Wayne's mom is a disgusting 5'11" and weighs 120lbs.

Any way I am not inclined to worry, Beau has cute pudgy short legs, he is an early walker (10 months) he is very active and busy. I am also going to probably leave him on the bottle an extra 6 months.

My Pedi is a twit and Beau hasn't been in for his one year appointment yet.

(I am still mourning my previous Pedi, who passed away)

My daughter is tiny and in like the 8th percentile for weight and 25th for height, but her pediatrician reassured me that she is just small but "perfectly healthy." I'd get a doctor's opinion for complete peace of mind.

Thank you,
PinkCuppycakeSprinkles, for my beautiful siggy!!

I wish you could come here and see our pedi, she is great. She told me not to even think about it unless KC dipped below the 5th percentile (KC was 5th to 10th). But that was KC not Beau, and I am no pedi. I have no advice, just letting you know what happened here.

Is he proportinate in size? I cant give you medical advice on this because I am not a Dr, but Kaden has always been in the 5th percentile and lower, so he has always been small. Ask your Pedi and get his opinion on things.

It was funny when I had my U/S with Beau the tech said his femur was in the 90% which I thought was funny, and I walked out of there saying that I thought she was looking at my 6'4" Dh and not the baby.

The older girls are fat. Quinn(mine and ex DD) is 10 wears a childs 16/18 and is 5'. Kennan (DH's and his ex DD) is 6 and wears a childs size 14. Kindel (DH's ex DD)is 13 and wears a womens size 20/22 and is 5'3"

Beau wears a 6-9 month onesie and 12 month anything one piece with legs. He was 7lbs 12oz and 19inches when he was born. Now he is 19.2lbs and 29 inches.

Any way my old pedi would have watched me chase him around the room and said, "Well the parts all work even if they are small..."
