I remember having parties when I was a kid and we always had games.
Did you have the kids play games at their birthday party?
What kind?

At Leah's party, we did a "Pin the Bow on Minnie" game - like Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Each child colored a bow when they arrived, which was a good activity to occupy them as we greeted other guests as they showed up. We also did a pinata, per Leah's request!
Thanks to Kiliki for my super cute siggy!

We had a piñata but Ethan and my niece were the only kids there. It was a small party this year.
Thank you Claire1979!

We had pin the tail on the rainbow dash, musical bumps/statues, sleeping lions, dance competition and a treasure hunt. It was a blast.

We do pin the item on the themed picture (this year pin the baseball in the glove, last year pin the treasure on the map), and this year hit t-balls and did a pinata. Last year we did a treasure hunt with clues (pirate party). Usually we have some type of activity rather than game. I'm looking toward doing some small art projects in the future when he's sharing a party with sister.
