Have you done any research about them? I have done a bit and I want to get one for myself, my mom and Cole when teething time arises...as far as pain relief goes, it's all about the color, the lighter and milkier the color, the more succinic acid it has which is it's pain relieving property...and the babies don't actually chew on them, the necklace just has to be on the skin for it to release the succinic acid. Great store link here...

I've heard of amber teething necklaces and a few ladies in Olivia's playroom swear by them. Having a necklace around baby's neck makes me a little nervous personally (especially with a toddler around to try to yank on it) but I saw that there was a site who had ankle bracelets that are supposed to be almost as effective.

Olivia had a horrible, horrible time with teething. I didn't get it with Olivia because it was a little expensive but now I wish I would have at least tried it. With every tooth she got in the tylenol and motrin would stop working when it came to the point of breaking through and she would literally lean against us with her eyes half closed and moan for several days before the tooth would finally break through. It always broke my heart. I would hate to see Josiah have to go through the same thing if he has as tough of a time as she did.

i have a couple friends that swear by them. I'd get one for Levi if he has tough teething. I'd have to convince SO though because he wasn't really liking them for a boy

I have heard of them just never used them.

I personally find it weird for a boy to wear jewelry.
