Hungry? I mean in the morning. Or do they prefer to wait a while before breakfast? Jena wants breakfast pretty much within 20 min of waking, 10 is even better in her opinion.... Now if for some reason I cant get to it right away she will suffice with a cup of milk, but I hate doing that because then she doesnt eat breakfast well.

Thank You ashypoo03 for my beautiful siggy!!

She will run to the fridge and bang on it, so yes, she is hungry first thing in the morning. I am the complete opposite. I don't get hungry until about 10am.

I'm pretty sure that if I didn't put Lucas in the high chair to eat it would never occur to him. Heck, even when he is in the high chair all he wants to do is get out after I manage to get a few bites in him.

Douglas will get progressively more angry and upset if we don't give him milk when he wakes up. So he gets a sippy of milk with Daddy, diaper change, dressed for the day, then comes out and I feed him breakfast. I'd say it's anywhere from 15-25 minutes after he gets up that he eats breakfast.

During the day I wake her up and put her in the car to go to the sitter. The sitter gets her dressed and feeds her breakfast. So from the time she wakes up and eats, it's probably about 30 mins. On the weekends it's probably within 30 mins. of waking up too.

Thank you Jaidynsmum for my siggy!

Not really, but it depends on the day really. His appetite has shrunk recently. But, he usually eats within an hour after waking. Today.. it was longer. He woke up a little before 8 and is actually finishing up his breakfast now at 930.

huge thanks to Jaidynsmum for my lovely siggy!

I always give him a cup of milk when he wakes up and then sometime in the next 30 minutes I give him breakfast. Days when my dh gets up with the kids, he waits longer, like an hour.

i nurse him before work. he usually goes back to sleep and wakes up ~8am. DH puts him in the swing to watch cartoons while he gets ready. then he eats breakfast by 8:30, so i guess within 30 min of waking up. he's never starving b/c i nurse him at 6:45.

Yes. The first thing he wants to do is eat. If I'm not feeding him in 5-10 minutes he gets cranky and will stand by his highchair or our bench that works like a gate and cries!

Sam on the other hand, does not. If I feed him right away, he eats practically nothing. It's usually about an hour before he wants to eat.

I try to have his sippy of milk ready to go in the fridge the night before, as well as a clean plate w/banana next to it! This boy wants his food as soon as his eyes are open every AM. I have to change his diaper as fast as I possibly can. LOL. He almost always is in his chair eating within 5 minutes of being awake.

Shoot, Alayna is even worse! She wakes up at 7 am--an hour before everyone else--and comes in my room to tell me she's starving. I make her go back upstairs for an hour to wait for everyone else.
