does your LO wear?
I'm just curious what sizes all the LOs are in.
Samantha is in 18 months. But she's just about to outgrow that. Would you recommend for me buying 2T clothes or 24 month?

2T and 24 mo are mostly the same around here.

I use both depends on the store.

Bailey is in 12 and 18 mo pants, 18-24 mo/2T shirts.

i think the only difference between 2T and 24mos is 2t is longer.

I found a clothing chart it has 24mos listed as 25-28lbs and 30-33" and 2T as 25-28lbs and 33-34". So if she's on the taller side i'd go with 2T otherwise i'd go with 24 months.

Catie is in 18 months. Right now they fit her perfectly in length, and are actually kind of loose in the waist.

Ditto 2t is longer Elise is in 3T, if you like to put her in leggings i would just skip 24 month as it doesn't matter if they are a bit long ( i have a ton for Elise )

Lucy is anything from 12 months to 2 years. Depends on where I buy it from and what it is.

Thanks to Claire1979 for the amazing siggy.

Xander is 12 months to 18 months right now.

I do have some 24 months for summer but I think those will be too big.

He needs the bigger size for the length but the smaller size in the waist.

The pants don't stay up and I have to roll the waist on him cause he is so skinny buy tall.

Elijah is wearing 12 months, but starting to get into 18 months. He looks good in 18 month shirts, but the pants are way too long.

2T is longer than 24 month.

Abby is in 12/18. 18 month footie pj's are still too long.

I would recommend size 2T as well..

A.J is in 12 month clothing.. 18 months are way to big.. He can get away with 18 month or even 24 month short sleeved shirts, they just look long but not in the pants.. He also has the skinny problem in the waist. Can't seem to find jeans to fit him in size 12 months that have adjustable waists and the ones I do find have wide legs..

Oh the joys of having a short skinny boy.. My daughter is petite also and there are more options out there for her verses for boy clothing.

I think that the sizing depends on the store. In general I have heard 2T is longer in the legs. So it depends on her leg length (if she is long in that area, I would go with 2T and roll them a bit if needed...at least she will be able to wear them longer!)

Liam is in an 18 month pretty steadily (except 1-piece PJ's...those are too short in rise, so he is in 24, even though the legs are way too long). He had grown into himself and seems to have evened out. Which is awesome

Depends on the brand. Most of her clothes comes from The Children's Place, Gymboree, or Crazy 8. She wears 12 months from TCP and 12-18 from Gymboree. She could probably wear 6-12 month shorts when it gets warm out, but I bought those in 12-18 months, too. Crazy 8's sizing is all over the place so I pretty much have to have her with me when I buy from there.

Echo is in all 24 and 2T now. Some of the 2T pants are waaaaaaay too big for her though. She's got stubby little legs like her momma.

Thank you MommaDucks for the AMAZING siggy!

Xander is primarily in 18 months. He has a few 12 tops that still fit okay. Actually, his 12 mo pants would be great if they weren't so short! haha. He has a skinny little waist.
