I didn't want to scare anyone, so I stayed away.

Long story here:

I went to the ER on 28th of July for cramping. They did another quant (6th one I think) then did an U/S.

My level was only 429---shoulda been closer to 800, but the U/S showed a tiny gestational sac 3-4mm in my uterus. Dr said all was well, just early. Sent me home.

On Thurs or Friday----I can't remember anything anymore! I began spotting some very small amounts of brown. Nothing pink or anything just brown. More mucous than anything. called my dr, the other dr in practice was on call and called me back. He said it was most likely due to cervical irritation and not to worry. I had the trans vag U/S and then intercourse after that so he attributed it to that. I felt better and went on about my merry lil way.

THEN on Sunday I started spotting PINK. And one time it was DARK red....not bright but dark like end of period red. I freaked. Called the dr and on call dr called back. he told me to take it easy that day and just lay around, call the office at 9am and tell them I needed to be seen. I said ok.

Layued around all day and by that night spotting was nearly gone. The next day (yesterday) I was hving some more pink spotting, brown mucous---chunks----but all tiny amounts. And cramping---mild. Went in at 10:30am. MY dr came in and said he feared I was having a miscarriage. Said he was going to send me for quants but not to get my hopes up.

I had the blood draw and they called back around 2:30 and said my quants were fine, 789---nearly 800. And for me to go ahead and come to my prenatal visit on thursday with the nurses and my first prenatal visit with the dr on Monday. I sid....but they didn't even come close to doubling ever 48-72 hours! the nurse said the dr wasn't concerned about it, that they did nearly duoble I just doubled MUCH slower than most but it was fine, since some don't even double at all. My dr is very good, so I do trust him. One of the best in the area and I've been seeing him since I was 15---he saved my life----story for another day. But at any rate, he wouldn't have me coming back in for prenatals if he thought it was an impending mc. He didn't even have me come in at all until after 4 quant checks because he was worried it was a false pos (chem pg) and didnt want me to get hurt!

So now my levels are as follows:
AF on June 3rd
Bleeding like AF on July6th-9th
BFP my shear chance on July12---took test so I could start provera!
7-13: 17
7-15: 21
7-17: 37
7-21: 129
7-23: 218
7-28: 429
8-3: 789

Now today: no spotting at all, no cramping at all and a major increase in symptoms. I think it was just AF trying to start and my lil grain of rice fighting!

Thanks to Maitri for my wonderful siggy!
