As most of you know my ds was out of school all WEEK last week with H1N1 flu. Monday was a school holiday so he went back Tuesday and only made it half a day. He was fine Wednesday and Thursday and now today he's vomiting and has diarrhea Today he was supposed to take last week's math, reading and spelling tests and this weeks' math reading and spelling tests. I feel like he's never going to catch up at school now

And I feel bad for even saying this but the kids were supposed to go my mom's this weekend so I could have some down time and dh and I could have some alone time but now that won't happen either

Oh no, your poor little DS! I feel so bad for him since he has been sick for so long. What a damper that puts on him and the family. Hope he gets better soon!

That really sucks! Don't feel bad for wanting time alone. Taking care of kids can get hard period. Taking care of a sick kid is insanely stressful. Espicially when it involves bodily fluids such as throw up and diaherrea (sorry, I can never spell it right). You need and deserve a break. Sorry you won't be able to get it this weekend. I'd feel disapointed too if I were you, espicially after planning and countng on it. Maybe you and DH can lay the kiddos down a little bit early and get some take out for the two of you? Something at least....sorry he's still sick. Hope he gets better soon. And I sooooooo empathize with you about the catching up in school. That sucks too. Big Hugs!

Thank you Kiliki for my awesome siggy!
