the trip is 3 hours away from home.

hubby decided that we will not be able to go because of being so far away from the dr.s

You are fine to go if you do it early enough. My doctor said no more than 1 hour away starting around 32 weeks.

Thank you Alethia for my siggy!

being just three hours away I wouldnt worry about it too much before 36 weeks - esp if you have not had any complications but you can always ask your dr.

In my last pregnancy my doctor said 36 weeks (I was 2 cm dilated by then). I really don't think in an uncomplicated pregnancy it would be in issue before then. Even if something came up while you were gone, nearly everywhere has a hospital nearby. Check with your doctor, but I say go and have fun!

Thanks to ~*Helen*~ for the beautiful Siggy!

if you're having a straightforward pregnancy, I wouldn't worry until 36+ weeks

I agree that if you have had an uncomplicated pregnancy, go and have fun!
