I just changed Audrey's diaper and noticed a bright yellow line in her diaper where her girl parts are, not where her butt is.. I wiped her and she had it in her girl part..

My MIL changed her poopy diaper last, but it was dark brown poop.. My husband said that he has changed her diaper once since then, and it was clean, so I don't think it was poop....He's really good at cleaning of the girl parts lol.

Is that normal? should I watch it and see if it goes away or not?

Did she have any type of diaper cream on from the last diaper change??

If not I would probablyl take her in. Just incase it's a yeast or some other type of infection.

I remember discharge when Bryn was a newb, but I haven't seen any since. I agree with Laura, as I have noticed that if any diaper cream is leftover it can leave a yellowish residue.

If you don't notice it again, chances are it was just that. If you do thoug, I would take her in just in case.

LOVE my siggy, thank you Meganpixel!!!!!!

I know it's normal for baby girls to have vaginal discharge as newborns, but I'm not sure about when they're older. I'd probably call the doctor just to ask.

I know UTI's and vaginal infections are common in baby girls because of the presence of poop in the area, I would take her in just in case.
