A few weeks ago we decided to put Abri in preschool one day a week. I do volunteer work every Friday and my mom flakes out on me for babysitting a few times. We decided that preschool might do her some good anyway. They ended up putting her in the 2 year old room. There really aren't any infants there and she is as big as most of the 2 year olds anyway. I think she does okay. She of course cries when I drop her off, but she does that even if I walk out of the room at home. After a few minutes she cries for Lily. Her teachers take her to Lily's classroom so she can say hi. After that, she's good. They said she's great at eating at the tables and feeding herself and loves playing on the playground. By the end of preschool, she gets over tired and starts crying but that's normal. The best part is that they have agreed to use my cloth diapers so we don't have to buy diapers on top of the added expense.

As it turns out, it's good that we are trying to get her used to being somewhere other than at home with me. We aren't really able to afford me being at home full time. I had a job interview this morning for a part time position. I'm not sure if this particular job is going to work out pay wise to cover child care, but at least it serves as interview practice. I've been applying for jobs and talking to friends about referrals in the last few days. I'm not ready to go back to work, but it is what it is.

That's great that Abri is doing good in pre-school! That should make the transition when you get a job a little smoother for everyone! And how awesome they agreed to do cloth!

Are you looking for a job in a certain field or a take what you can get as long as the pay is right type gig?? GL on all the interviews (I hate those!). I just applied for a position within the company I currently work for and am crossing my fingers I get an interview but then I'll just be a nervous wreck!! ugh! Being an adult just stinks sometimes!! lol KUP!!

Thank you Quantum_Leap for my fabulous signature!!!

My background is real estate sales, which I want nothing to do with right now. It's always been commission only but that doesn't pay any bills these days. Basically I'm looking for an admin job in any industry that is 25-30 hours a week and pays half way decent. DH is a bank manager and thinks he can get me an interview as a teller as long as it's not in his district. It's all who you know, and I don't know too many people these days being a SAHM for two years
