Are any of our kiddos singing their ABC's or counting yet? I know if they are they're ahead of the game but I was wondering if any of them are yet

Kolbie gets most of her letters and counts to 6 without a problem...and it was a surprise to me when she started doing it the other day!

Violet will sing along to the ABCs and she counts to 5 in Korean and English. She knows some other numbers, but doesn't always put them in the correct order.

She does recognize all of her letters by sight and she will show you the X, S, C, etc if you ask. We don't actually sing the ABC song much, since I'd prefer her to know the letters by sight and sound, etc versus just learning the song and not recognizing the letters when she sees them.

Peyton can count to 14. We count everything! We haven't worked on the alphabet as much. I want to get her some flashcards with letters and work with her soon. She picks up and learns things so easily.

Thank you Quantum_Leap for my fabulous signature!!!

Mia can count to ten with a little bit of guidance (otherwise she'll skip four) and she can recite the ABC's with a little bit of guidance or she skips a couple letters. She does not recognize any by sight though. I guess we should work on that. To be perfectly honest, I have never worked with any of my kids on things like that prior to preschool age/Kindergarten age....they do learn some through play and singing and having fun but we don't officially "work" on anything. They all get it eventually....some early and some not till Kindergarten.

Thank you Kiliki for my awesome siggy!

Gavin can count to ten, but he always skips five unless we remind him, haha. He tries doing the ABC's, but only when his big brother is doing it and he wants to chime in.

Thank you, Meganpixel, for my awesome siggy!

she wants to and shes trying though. if we look at the abc puzzle she points and makes a sound and wants me to tell her the letters. same with numbers. she will mimic my tone and make a sound but not the actual word yet.

Lauren counts to 10 all the time, sometimes skipping 6, and knows parts of the ABCs, but we're just really starting to work on it. More often she is singing a Yo Gabba song.
