Gavin is so lazy and it drives me crazy. I don't mean that he sits around all day but he "captain I can't do it" "it's too hard" "help me". Logan was never like this and it is making me go insane. We just respond that he can do it (when he can) and then walk away, he either throws a fit and eventually does it or just does it right away.

Sigh, I hope his teen years arent horrible!

Any other captain I can;t do it kids?? I am so much more use to I DO IT kids

THANK YOU Jaidynsmum

Gavin Betsy

Not Kellen... but Kensley does do this sometimes, not often, but I do hear a whiny "I Can't" often enough that it drives me crazy!

Betsy is usually pretty good about doing things for herself. Occasionally, she gets a bit whiney about something that she wants me to do, but I just tell her that she can do it and then she reluctantly will do it.
Thank you JAIDYNSMUM for my adorable new siggy!

Evan is half and half. Sometimes he amazes me with the "I can't!!!!" Today, he said, "Can somebody get me some water??" We are all 4 sitting at the table eating lunch. His cup is on the table. Our fridge has a water dispenser on the outside. This is not that hard people. I said, "Somebody sure can! YOU!" You should have seen the whining that happened next. "But I caaaaan't. I waaant someone else to doooo ittttt." OMGoodness. What in world?
Thank you Alethia for my awesome siggy!

Max is usally an "I DO IT!" kid who won't let us do anything at all for him. That said, when he's tired or stubborn we do get a fair amount of "I too big" (I think he confuses big and little ) or "My Mama do it!" the most frustrating part is only I can help him. No one else can. Regardless of what else I'm doing.
