Will you take an infant CPR/first aid class?

DH's parents did this when his cousins were expected (twins) and were able to care for them after they came home from the NICU since they had taken it. I took it in babysitter training when I was 15, and DH and I are planning to take it again at the local hospital before this one is born.

No. But DH is a pediatric paramedic and he reviews with me every couple of months. Mostly because I am terrified of DS choking and it is good to know what to do if he does choke. The way to deal with it is different for a newborn than a 2 year old, so we review frequently.

I would like to do one. It has been years and years since I took a CPR class. Sarah could probably use a refresher too.

Yes, although I wouldn't if I could avoid it. But I have to take it every so often for work requirements and it includes infants. I'm due to take it in April. I hate doing it but I know it will be good to get a refresher.

Thank you Vicki for my new siggy!

I'd love to since it's been so long since I took it last(For my niece), almost 10 years. Sadly there's no classes in English.

I have taken one and I think all parents should know basic infant cpr/resuscitation for just in case something happens.

DH and I are both EMTs so we should be fine, although a refresher wouldn't be bad.
