I posted over on PAL yesterday about how I'm having a hard time basically "accepting" this pregnancy because I'm so afraid of another loss. I've been reading here daily, but not really commenting/posting that much because I guess I just got scared of getting TOO involved, just in case.

Well, I'm going to try to get more involved again (& get over feeling like poop!), & I figured I might as well share probably the most horrific pic of me ever taken, but it shows exactly how I'm feeling right now lol!

13 weeks on the dot!

I've been taking pics every 2 weeks (8,10,12, etc.) but decided to take one yesterday since I felt exceptionally huge!

I finally got approved for insurance (my husband is self employed if we want insurance we have to purchase our own!) so right now I'm still sitting pretty on only 1 dr. appointment (my 1st at 8w2d) & won't have another one now until mid-late June when my insurance kicks in. I'm ok with that though, it's been a peaceful, non-agitating pregnancy so far without all of the poking & prodding at the doctors lol! I'm hoping to find out the sex shortly after my June appointment too (the dr I'm going to will have to schedule a u/s so I won't find out at my next appointment!) so that's pretty exciting!

I've also been feeling our lil penguin moving every few days... today was the first time after 3-4 days & it just made my day!

SO, that's whats up with me lol!

I totally understand your hesitancy. We just now told our family, and some of our friends. Other friends we won't tell for awhile. So glad you are starting to feel confident about the pregnancy!!

Good luck and KUP!!

I'm glad you're doing well! I share the fears with you on being pregnant after a loss, as I know a few of us do that have been PMing each other whenever we're freaking out. The Doppler is basically the only thing that keeps my mind at ease.
