I hate feeling this way! I don't know if it's just all the stress getting to me or what (having some probs with my teenager, having financial probs, etc) but I am Sooooo lazy. I failed my Comp 1 class because I didn't have the motivation to do the assignments, I am so behind on blog reviews/giveaways it's not even funny, my house - well visually it's not bad it's the places you can't see that are getting out of control (laundry, closets, etc). I am sooo tired all the time. I know all the signs are pointing to depression but I really don't want to get on any type of anti-depressent. I think I'll talk to my midwife about any possible herbal remedies I can use that will be safe.

Even though the $$ situation is grim right now due to dh's hours being cut, I *might* get to take a trip to Tennessee in 2 weeks to visit my best friend. DH has that week off because he's going fishing in Ohio with his dad and he said I can take off with NO kids when he gets back. I haven't been away from my kids for more than a couple hours in 9 years so even if we have to eat hot dogs n mac n cheese that whole week, I NEED this break. The part that sucks is that it's a 9.5 (at least) drive down there and I hate driving on highways lol. But that's nearly 20 hours of absolute alone time. Hopefully that will be all the medication I need

Jessica, I think a little time away would do you good!

I am actually thinking of going away for a week this summer with no kids. I love my kids and being a sahm, but sometimes we just need a break.

I hope things start looking up for you

I think a break would do you good. Do Not feel guilty, you need it. I'm sure your kids and DH will miss you while you are gone but a happy mom is important. I'm sure your BFF would love to see you

With as many as you have, I am surprised you have not gone nuts yet. I am not trying to be mean or anything. You are REALLY busy!!! There are days with my 3...... And no one ever wants to take them for more than a few hours. So I can semi hear you! lol but again, I only have 3.

Take the trip!!!!! And fi you need cheap ideas for meals, let me know, I can be pretty good at that. Especially if you do not have picky eaters. You really need some time to yourself and regroup.
