When I go home for my shower at the beginning of August, a photography friend of mine will be doing my Professional belly shots. I didn't do them with Sara so I am a bit anxious, I have no idea what I want. I'd like to smooth out a little more before then so if that happens I will do bare belly pics otherwise clothes is staying on. What do I wear, should I include Sara and DF in them or are they supposed to be all about baby? Any advice will help Thanks.

I would include them in the pics... and do bare belly even if your a little uncomfortable... your photography friend can smooth them out

I am not trying to sound mean or harsh. Please understand that these comments are coming from my experience as an ex wife of a freelance photographer and at times I was the test subject. Including a few pregnancy shots... I have a B belly. I was 5'3" and 265 pre pregnancy when I did the nude. (#2)

If your friend knows their stuff, they can work with your belly even if it has not filled out. They will either use a combo of props (items or ribbon or even a sheet of sheer cloth, I had an awesome one that way) Or will photo shop it a little bit smooth and still have it look natural. That is assuming you are going bare belly/'nude.

Also they will know how to pose you so that it will be the most flattering.

So do not worry to much! I am sure they know their stuff and your pics will come out wonderful!

As for family, I would add them in. With #2 I had a cool one where it was Clark and I and we were both nude. Now, he was a little under a year then. So IDK if I would do it with any now, but I have seen some great ones with family with just belly showing.
Proud mama to:
Clark 6/07 ~ 1lb 13oz. @ 28 weeks
Tyke (Karl) 8/08 ~ 8lbs 3oz @ 39 3/4 weeks
Pork (Laurence) 9/09 ~ 8lbs 3oz @ 36 1/2 weeks
2 angels in heaven 10/06 and 01/11

Thanks girls...I know she is really good at what she does, I guess I am just a little nervous. When I had Sara I never really flattened out I had a little pouch that always hung right in front, now that I am getting bigger and rounder it is still there. The great thing about having a friend do the shots is I am totally comfortable with asking her what she thinks when I get there.
