When I had my son I packed:

For me -
-Shampoo/Conditioner/Deodorant/Toothbrush and paste
-Socks ---- My feet froze the entire time I was in the hospital
-Outfit to wear home.
-Something to do, like a book, magazine, just in case. I found I had some time where I was bored and was glad I had a book. But, I was in the hospital for 5 days.

For Baby-
-Outfit to wear home.
-Receiving blankets and blankets to take baby home.

The hospital where I had my son (and will have this baby) supplies diapers, formula (if needed), bottles, and everything else baby needs, except clothes so I didn't pack much for the baby.

pretty much everything as the ladies above said, but I also like to pack snacks and juice, I HATED waiting till it was time for them to bring meals, I dont know about everyone else but seriusly I would be HUNGRY in the hospital afterwards and by the time meals came around my stomache would be growling lol.
