Just wondering if anyone has decided to do permanent birth control, like a V or tying of the tubes.

What did you choose and why.
Also how was healing/recovery (for you or DH if he had the V)

We are trying to decide what we would like to do. Dh is leaning towards being snipped. But we still aren't sure. and don't want to do anything just because it's easier.

Thanks ladies
Thank you to Kiliki for my Siggy

I had my tubes tied while I was already having my c section. I wouldn't know about the healing part since I was healing from the c section at the same time.

My DH had the V this summer. He had it done on a Friday, recovered over the weekend, and then was able to go back to work on Monday. He said it just felt like he had been kicked in the crotch, but he said it was probably nothing comparing to me having the c-section. He seemed fine after about a week.

Some think that we are crazy because Parker is the only child we plan to have, but we know that we only want one child. This is something that we have talked about since we became a serious couple and since we have been married.
