Will your toddler watch any TV or a movie yet?

I just noticed that Dominic is starting to watch a bit of TV in the last week or so. Before that he never had any interest.

Thank you Vicki for my new siggy!

E always stops what he is doing to watch Nina and Star (from Sprout) when they come on! I think it's because he knows they sing. We don't watch TV very much, if we watch something together it's usually Sprout or Disney Jr. Well, he plays and I sit on the couch watching. I try to avoid watching any adult shows when he's with me, but sometimes it does happen! We usually watch Berenstain Bears, but that's really because I LOVED the Berenstain Bears growing up!!

If I'm watching TV while she is playing, she ALWAYS pays attention to the TV when music comes on and she always dances. Here lately, she has been cuddling with me on the couch in the evenings after dinner/showers while I watch 90210 on Netflix, lol. She watched almost all of Fox and the Hound (one of my favorite Disney movies), but I did have to fast forward through some of the slower parts.

The one show or whatever that she will sit through the whole thing just engrossed in it is her Little People dvd. She will watch it over and over, too.

Evan loves tv and movies, and always has. He doesn't usually just sit and watch an entire show or movie, but watches for a few minutes then goes on his way. He did sit on the couch and watch The Lorax with me the other day, but he wasn't feeling well and was having a lazy day. Movies have been a lifesaver in the van for long trips, which we do every couple of months.

Will doesn't really watch tv yet - he will sit and stare at it for a minute, but at this point it's more out of curiosity than interest.

Alexis loves two movies and a few shows. Sometimes she will watch for awhile, but generally she pops in and out of it and opts to toddle off and play.
Thank you claire1979 for my cute new siggy!

He loves tv shows, but likes to multitask while watching. Neither of my my kids are into full length movies yet. I can't wait until they are. I want to cuddle up and watch Lion King and Monsters Inc.

Avery is not too interested yet. She will watch about 10 minutes of Super Why and that is it before she is bored. But throw some singing on and she will watch that for sure!

Tristan will watch tv if he's tired or in his high chair. If he's on the ground he typically runs around and comes back when he hears music. He will not sit through movies yet

Thank you babydoll213 for my siggy!

Elmo! With Tucker now, Elmo is an absolute LIFE SAVER. She will watch a lot of show though. Super Why, Sid the Science Kid, Caillou, Barney, Doodlebops, Dinosaur Train, etc. She doesn't usually watch the whole show, but definitely big chunks!

She actually will cry at some parts of certain Elmo episodes... One part the bad guy gets hurt and she cries EVERY time until Elmo goes to help him! She totally understands what she's watching!
