How do you get your LOs to SLEEP, and not be up all night trying to play/talk?

Only have the one, and I have yet to figure out how to get just her to sleep and not stay up half the night playing/talking to herself.

Thanks to Bokkechick for my siggy.

We staggered bedtime. When all 3 boys shared a room, we'd send Daniel to bed 15 minutes before Clayton and then Will 15 minutes after Clayton. It worked!

Sharing rooms here was just a total disaster, of course, Dominic was still up crying like 4-6 times a night when we tried lol

Thank you Vicki for my new siggy!

Both girls go to bed at the same time here and they share a room. I threaten them with their lives!!! Just kidding! I give them a half hour to giggle and chatter as much as they want then it's lights out and no more talking. It seems to work well most nights, but I'm still looking forward to them each having their own room.

They've been in the same room for a long time now, so they just end up sleeping. The first week in Toddler beds was horrible. All I would hear from downstairs was "Thud, Thud, Thud, giggle, giggle" They've figured it out now, and they still play for a bit, but go to bed pretty easily. Even if cribs they would play. They would have jumping contests in their cribs, but they still eventually went to sleep (not so much for naps though). For nap time, one is in the playpen in another room, and the other in a bed.
