I know there are/were a few moms here starting potty training and at least one mentioned looking for affordable cloth training pants that would fit. Well I found this tonight while searching patterns and it looks so easy that I thought I'd pass it on for anyone who is crafty.

It's a Long Story: DIY cloth training pants!

I bought a 2 pack of training pants at Walmart for $6. They're padded in the crotch so that if they do pee, it soaks it up.

those are much cuter, but I don't have a creative bone in my body lol

If I could sew, that'd be awesome. Because little rose is SO small, the closest I could find that fit were Charlie Banana swim diapers/training pants. They were way more than I'd like, but she'll be wearing these for a long, long time. In her case, it was worth the investment. The CB ones are nice - waterproof outside and a thick crotch to absorb most everything.

I like the store padded ones too and have used them in the past, but I was looking for something a little more leak proof for when we're out, that's when I found these. I don't know if I'll be talented enough to make them though.
