Are you teaching your LO to say please and thank you?

Do you think it's important that they say please and thank you?

I'm trying to reinforce it with DD and I have to say that I'm using please and thank you a lot more myself!

Family members have commented on how polite she is

Yes, I've always tried to get her to say please and thank you, she has the thank you down and uses it as please also, we just can't get her to say please, but at least she's polite

"Tank eww" was Wyatts 3rd word. Please and thank you is a very active part of his vocabulary.

Now we are currently working on "yes/no sir/ma'am" and "yes/no please". Because the NO's are driving me crazy.

Logan is pretty consistent with please, but I usually have to remind him to say "tanks"

Kelsey has been good about using please and thank you since she has been vocal. She is so polite. If she offers me a bite of something and I say "no thanks" she will say "please... please mama....please" until I accept whatever it is she is offering. It's so darn cute. She has better manners than my husband

Yes, we remind the kids to use please and thank you. And no thank you, instead of just no as well. They are pretty polite children, but not perfect...so sometimes they need a reminder. lol

We think it's important as well, and try to reinforce it. She's pretty good about please, but occasionally needs to be reminded on thank you.
