Cody's still having loose BM's/diarrhea on a daily basis, although he's gaining weight fine. I knew it was either Celiac disease or lactose intolerance. I've subtracted both from his diet and he was doing better, but his poops were nowhere near firm. Then last night as a test I gave him yogurt and I woke up to quite a mess. I guess his sensitivity to milk is pretty bad. Here's my problem, though. How do I get him enough calcium? He won't eat soy yogurt or drink soy milk - doesn't like the taste. I know nuts have calcium but I'm not ready for him to try that yet - might choke. There has to be some sort of supplement I can give him. And I'm pretty sure Pedia Sure contains both soy and milk. We buy calcium fortified orange juice which my other kids drink, but it gives Cody diaper rash.

J was having semi-loose stool for a few weeks while his molars were coming in. That may be it. ..or you could start him on a multi-vitamin and see if that helps. The iron in it will harden those suckers right up. LOL

There is no reason for people with lactose intolerance to push themselves to drink milk.
