I would love to see some of these tips.

The thing that has helped me most is to come up with a list of things that need done in each room and work them into an order that goes quickly.

I also try not to multi-task too much. If I focus on getting one thing done at a time I tend to get more accomplished as I don't spend near as much time running back and forth from one project to another.

Hi...I would say the easiest way that I keep the house really clean is to clean as you go. example..when im cooking I wash as I go. If Theres any laundry I wash it, even if its a small load. Before my children can move from one project or craft, they must clean up first. Keep a list posted of what needs to be done weekly and monthly and dont skip it no matter what.

I buy a set of cheap mattresses toppers and wash them with strongly scented fabric conditioners. The smell then permeates through your bed linens and throughout the room, creating a lovely ambiance in the room

I totally agree with babyloves2dance.I've always done that and it makes everything else easier. If I manage to combine it with baby duties, everything falls into place.

Do some things every day:One load of laundry from start to finish,
Dishes after lunch and dinner,
Clean off all seats and surfaces (tables counters) at a set time every day

Do some things weekly, on the same day every week:
(Example)
Mon- bathroom full clean
Tue- vacuum
Wed- mop
Thurs- clean the stove and fridge
Fri- bathroom again (mine needs it)
Sat- whatever was forgotten

Then monthly could be dusting, toy box organization, and wherever your 'dump' spot is.

Write it down, check it off. and even if you aren't great at following lists, if your house looks better than it did than keep trying. Make adjustments as needed!

I set a timer and strictly stick to one room so 20 min in bathroom, 5 min in bedroom, 10 min in livingroom, etc and spend no more than 1 hour a day but everything gets cleaned a little.
