How do you use glitter on a page? Do you need to have a special adhesive? Anyone have step-by-step pictures?

What exactly is distressing and how do you do it?

I'll be doing a technique of the week featuring distressing. But basically it is trying to make your page look old. You can use chalk to rub on the page, ink (usually you go around the outside edges) they have tools you can use to distress. Like they have this shredder type thing that you run over the edge of your paper to rough it up. Also you can sand paper your page (works best on cardstock with a white core, or patterend paper)..ranger ink has a ton of colors in pads used just for distressing or making something look old. So keep an eye out for that technique of the week. Probally I'll post later in the week since we have a color challenge going on now, and the kit challenge.

The glitter can be adhered anyway you want. If you have some double sided sticky tape you can use that. For stamps they have pads that have glue on them. I just saw in an oriental trading sales flyer some stickers that are double sided so they have adheisive on the normal side that you adhere to the paper, then the front is adheisive so you can put glitter on that. You can use diamond glaze and sprinkle the glitter over that, then you can go back over it again with the diamond glaze and it kind of seals the glitter in sort of like an epoxy sitcker. The one downs side of glitter is it can make a mess. But it is fun to use.

The blinky is clickable!!
