Are any of you ladies helping your kids make homemade Valentine Cards for school to give out to the class?

Vanessa is in Pre-k and has only 10 kids in her class so we are making valentine's. Part of her show and tell for next week is to bring in a homemade Valentine.

I'm making them for Xavier's class. There are only 14 kids in the class, but it's been a lot of work. He's not really helping much.

Carrie isn't old enough but we're making home made valentines for daddy and friends for a playdate.

We're taping contact paper sticky side up on the table and then letting her place tissue paper on it. Then put a paint handprint in the middle. When it's dry I'll cover that side with contact paper too. I'll cut it into a heart shape and it'll basically be a laminated stained glass valentine

I will be making them for both my kids classes. Sydney also needs some for Sparks so we will make those as well. I am hoping to work on them on Monday. Still not sure what exactly I am doing though.

My kids aren't in class this year but I love making cards for their/our friends and family. This year between announcements, parties, the baby, needing to make TYs still, etc they probably won't get done but I did get a bunch of the cute tin mailboxes in the dollar spot at target and plan to do something cute with those for vday next year (If I don't use them up before that at least!)

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my adorable siggy! ~*~ Blog ~*~bfp Chart

I made about 140 Valentine's for Darian, Toby, Jeremy, Emma and Sebastian for their classes.

Toby's party activity which are going to be heart snowmen

I recycled last years Valentine mailboxes, used Jeremy's for Sebastian since they are making them in class.
