I've got an allowance to spend out of our tax money that recently came in, so I've decided to get some scrapping stuff. I really only have basics (trimmer, paper, some ribbon) so I'm looking for what else would help me. I'm definately getting bling, buttons, flowers, and edging punches...

what else are your fave things to use??

also where do you get bling?? I see it for like $4 a sheet at walmart, is somewhere else cheaper??

I love Fabric flowers.

Thank you to the wonderful ladies who mad the blinkies!

I like my shape cutter. It's made by Fiskars and you use it with these plastic sheets to cut shapes. You can also use it free hand. I use lots of stickers. I got some bling stuff at Michaels, but I don't remember how much it was. I love the paper at Walmart. It's pretty inexpensive. I'm not a huge fan of Walmart, but I do like the scrapbooking section there!

I LOVE Joanns!!! I got a whole bunch of new embellishments, brads, flowers there yesterday. I also got a plastic container to keep all my little things in.

Walmart does have cheap paper.

At Michaels and Joanns (I don't know any other craft stores) there are usually coupons in the Sunday paper where you can get 50% off of one item that is not on sale. I usually use that for something big!

I am going today to get the circle and oval cutter which is normally like $25, so I will get it for $12.50!!

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my siggy!!

Do you have an Archivers near you? I went to one back in the Fall and it was awesome!! They had a clearance section and I was able to get some bling from there.

Hobby Lobby is great as well. They have coupons so you can get a percentage off. I think if you go to their website you can print them off from there.

Also check ebay...you can get some really good deals on there.

As for what I love to use. I am loving stickles right now. They had that touch of sparkle to your page and you can use them on so many things. The other thing is glimmer mist. You can add it to your cardstock, chipboard, flowers....really anything to add some shine and glimmer. Brads are nice to have as well. They can be used for a lot of things and are great to attach flowers to your page.

ditto the stickles. i love them, they are so versatile. Stickles can turn anything into bling too, add it to a plain brad or to buttons. Also the liquid pearl is good, you can make your own bling flourishes. i also like buttons

Thank you bokkechick for my fantastic Siggy
