Click on the CREATE tab at the top of the page.

Click on the EFFECTS tab.

and play around with all the different effects.....

To get just parts of your photo altered....

Click on the BLACK AND WHITE and it will change your photo to black and white. To bring whatever part you are wanting back to colour, click on the paintbrush

You will get a pop up box that looks like this

Scroll over your photo and you will see a white circle....that is your paintbrush. You can adjust the size of your paintbrush so that you can get into bigger or smaller spaces but as you click, the colour will come back to the photo.

Just make sure you hit APPLY and then SAVE your photo

since the brush is round does it go out of the lines?

I didn't have too much of a hard time with it. You can make it smaller or bigger to avoid going out of the lines.

tfs jen! I've done this in PSE before but this seems easier (plus pse isn't working right for me lately).
