ok who here uses stamps? I do.
how do you use them? Mostly on cards - black image colored in or for heat embossing.
do you color them in? if so what do you use for that? Yes - I use my SU markers to color them in.
what is your favorite ink? I don't have much for ink yet - a black and a brown from SU and then a couple cat eye shaped inks from one of my old local scrapping stores. Also have a balck Stazon and a Versa Mark ink pad. I use my plain old black stamp pad from SU the most.
do you stamp on scrapbook pages or mostly cards? Mostly cards but will occaisionally use them on my scrapbook pages (to stamp or heat emboss an image).
what are your stamping must haves? Love my stamp-a-ma-jig!!
favorite lines or individual stamps? I have mostly SU. I really wanted a word window punch so my mom decided to become a demonstrator so that we could get things for a discount. I try and help her meet her quota every quarter.

It is a little T shaped tool with a clear thick plastic sheet - I will describe how it works the best I can. You place the plastic sheet in one of the corners of the T shaped tool then line your inked stamp up in that same corner using the edges of the T shaped tool to stamp straight down. You then take your plastic sheet and line it up how you want it on whatever you are stamping on. Then you line up the T shaped tool exactly how you had it when you stamped the image originally. You then reink your stamp, move the plastic sheet and stamp your image onto your project (using the edges of your T shaped tool as your guide). It makes it so much easier to get a straight stamped image or to connect stamps (like a train) or stamp letters. I will try to find a video as it is so much easier to understand when You see it done!

Here is what it is: Stamp-A-Ma-Jig - by Stampin' Up!

Here is a video: YouTube - How to Use a Stamp-a-ma-jig

I agree stamps are super expensive! I have only bought a handful from my mom. Most of my stamp sets I have gotten on ebay. I try to buy a bunch from the same seller and for only about $5-$8 (US) each...or less. I've been good and have managed to stay off of ebay for about a month now! LOL!
