There's a new store that just opened up in our area - Hobby Lobby. I've not heard of it before, but the name definitely caught my attention. I usually shop at JoAnns, Michaels, or AC Moore. Have you all heard of Hobby Lobby? Is it worth checking out?

I LOVE Hobby Lobby. Everytime we head across the border to Michigan I need to stop in and check things out. They can have some great deals on things when there are sales. I like it when they have their paper packs go on sale for 50% off. They are usually $10 so I try and stock up on the cardstock ones. That is a great deal (well at least for me stuff here costs a lot)

Oh and yes it is worth checking out

LOVE LOVE LOVE HOBBY LOBBY... good sales (like every 2 or 3 weeks everything you want is 50% off). We have a joannes here and it's similar, but Hobby Lobby is more craft than sewing

If you check it out, you'll soon become addicted

there's a Hobby Lobby just up the street from me, and I LOVE it. I actually really like that they have different stuff than JoAnne's or Michaels, so I can usually find what I'm looking for between the 3 of them.

DEFINTELY worth checking out! lol

We ran out for some errands on Sunday, but they're not open on Sundays. I hope to see them next Saturday then.

I have never been to Hobby Lobby, but I've heard the place is amazing. There is one about 2 hours from me in PA. I will go one day, but not sure when. Maybe once DH is done with the basement. I have a friend that will randomly get in the car to drive and end up there.

Would the ones in Maryland be a little closer for you Amanda? You will probably drive thru it to get to PA, unless you head up thru West Virginia.

Ok, so Chambersburg is just over an hour, lol. Fredericksburg is about an hour and a half and Columbia is about an hour and a half as well. I live very close to the WV boarder, so I'd take 81 straight up. My friend says it's really easy to get to. Maybe I'll be making a trip sooner then I thought!!

Do you live in the Leesburg, Winchester area? That's not that far from me actually. and I-81 would be a straight shot up for you.

Yes, I live in Winchester. I'm gonna have to wait until after the first of the year when I have some money. Something tells me I will be spending a lot!!

They just opened one here about a week ago! It is AMAZING. I can't see why I'd ever visit Joann's again!
