Are you making anything or have any fun ideas for thanksgiving related crafts?

I love the turkey crayon holder I saw in a magazine (I think it was scrapbooks etc) but we're not hosting this year and not even 100% sure what we're doing, so thats out! I want to make some crafts with the boys/Caden though. I might adapt the crayon turkey to future events though!

Well we already had our thanksgiving but what I have done in the past is make placemats with my kids.

We collected leaves from outside and they got to draw on them or put stickers on them. Then I covered them in a sticky plastic that I got from the dollar store. It is used to cover hard cover books but I put it on the front and back so I could just wipe the placemat down.

Very cool idea jen! I was just thinking of making placemats...I'll have to try that with the girls next year...they loved picking up leaves this year!

Last year (Alex's first Thanksgiving) we made this cute little keepsakes for the Grandparents, his book and a few close family friends. They were his handprint and a cute little poem about Thanksgiving. I will try to remember tomorrow to take a picture and post it.

The turkey crayon holder, placemat & handprints sound so adorable. I haven't even thought about crafts for Thanksgiving yet. Guess I need to get busy if I want to do some, it's not that far off.
