I'm ordering more prints. The set of pictures up to go through are pictures that were taken when my sister came to visit me. Just over a month later we had an explosive fight and haven't talked since. That was 2 1/2 years ago.

I'm not going to lie, there's a lot of hurt and anger there still. I'm having a really hard time even looking at these pictures.

But at the same time, I've never been one that liked the idea of going back and taking things out of my albums or leaving things out of my albums because later there's been hurt.

*sigh* Life gets dark and twisty sometimes, doesn't it?

(((Hugs))) I"m sorry sweetie. Good luck going through them and scrapping them.

I'm glad I didn't start scrapbooking years ago when I was married before. I would hate to have to decide on what to do with those pages if I had been scrapbooking then.

(((HUGS))) Those pics are always hard to scrap.

Totally agree that life can get dark and twisty at times.

I just don't want my anger and bitterness to bleed through, you know? They're all pictures of my kids and their cousins, and my kids deserve to have those moments, you know?

Hugs Brittanie...... I know that you will make special pages so you kids can look back at those happy memories..... My family went through a similar thing.... my cousins were like my siblings and because of a divorce I lost that special connection which makes those memories even more important.... That being said we are going to my cousins wedding this weekend so maybe some healing will happen there.

Brittanie that is one of the perks of scrapping current pictures, when i had my melt down with my sister all the pictures from our last hurrah were al scrapped and since her son is in his 20's I don't feel particularly about a cousin connection.

What i recommend doing is not thinking about it and then when you get to the journaling and titles show the page to you child and tell them about the pictures. Try to be very clinical about it. Picture size sketch paper sizes and assemble.

Good luck!

Oh and on the pictures, pick the ones that make you look good.

LOL! I'm not really in very many! They're all of the kids.

Brittanie! The past is hard to deal with sometimes, but at the same time it's part of what has made you who you are today.

I agree with everybody. Kristi's comment on healing is very well what could happen with you scrapping those pics....highly doubtful it'll wash all the hurt away, but it could help. And, I love what Nicole said about being very clinical about it. You don't have to do a lot of journaling....names & dates and what the event was. Good Luck!

Hugs, it will be hard for you to scrap them, I have had some bad ones with my ex husband on but they were good days with our daughter so don't want to miss them out.

Exactly. They were good at the time. I'll try to remember that.
