Once I pulled out my pictures and albums yesterday to sit down and do some pages I felt extremely overwhelmed and didn't know where or how to start.

I had scrapped for about 5 years and then stopped for about 4 years. My kids today are 10 and 14 (15 next month) so I was already behind when I started and now 4 more years behind from that. I couldn't figure out to go back to the beginning and catch up, catch up from where I left off 4 years ago or start with current. It's just a lot to try to get a handle on.

So I decided to go back 4 years and work to current. This seems the easiest because that's when I started facebook and have many albums with events that are dated and have explanations. So I am going to print each event one at a time and scrap them before moving to the next. Once I get caught up to current I think I can then manage current and go back and catch up from all the years I'm behind.

So I sent 10 pics to Costco this morning and picked up this afternoon. My plan is to scrap those throughout the week and print more next weekend if I'm done.

Feel a little less stressed now

Sounds like a good plan!

I like to scrap current pictures, so I have a 2 up album where I pull pictures from that are usually less than a year old. I occasionally go through and remove pictures I no longer feel inspired to scrapbook and put them in my back up box, that my kids are free to scrap from. I also have an album with older scrapible pictures that I never got to. I used to use that a lot more before I popped out four kids in five years!

I'm 3 years behind and don't know know that I'll ever catch up! Your method sounds good. lol I am currently in May of 2010 and I have up to the end of 2010 printed. My hope *was* to finish by the end of the year, but...with the move and all, not sure it's going to happen. :/
Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy! My kids' blog Cora's blog

I'm behind on several albums as well, and right now I work on different ones and timeframes - some current, some catch up. Basically I scrap out of order, which would drive some of you ladies crazy (cough, Brittanie )

Thanks Jaidynsmum for another perfect siggy!!

Sounds like a great plan!

I am 6 years behind on Kendra's and 10 years if I want to include my unfinished wedding album. I also scrap out of order. I "try" to scrap more older pictures than newer ones just so I can get a bit caught up though.
